Requirements

• General education degree (or working towards attaining).
• Read, write and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strong working knowledge of all products and procedures for handling.
• Suggestive sell to every customer (offer the Behind-the-Counter-Special).
• Complete tasks assigned within a reasonable amount of time with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Follow the Customer Service Process.
• Engage the customer in conversation and offer products.
• Adhere to Dress Code.
• Maintain merchandising strategy for all products that ensures the proper placement and neatness for ease of shopping.
• Ensure that merchandise is properly marked/priced according to the Red-Black-Blue pricing strategy.
• Perform proper receiving, rotating and stocking procedures of all shipments (may include unloading trucks).
• Perform proper receiving of distributor returns.
• Protect all Company assets through compliance with established security (including store keys, locks and secreting store), cash handling, record keeping procedures and practices and loss prevention.
• Perform store opening and closing procedures (including making bank deposit drops/pick-ups).
• Operate cash register and perform cash handling procedures.
• Maintain store cleanliness on sales floor and in stockroom (including bathroom).
