About The Position

The West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) serves West Point and the Long Gray Line, aiming to maintain the most highly connected alumni body globally. WPAOG is both the alumni association and foundation for the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point, a renowned leadership development institution. The USMA Corps of Cadets numbers 4,400, with approximately 1,000 cadets graduating annually as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army. WPAOG is seeking Part Time Sales Associates to support its Retail Operation/Gift Shop.

Requirements

• Ability to lift a minimum of 25lbs.
• Ability to climb a ladder
• Ability to walk or stand for periods of time
• Ability to work occasional nights and weekends as needed
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong oral communication skills
• Must be responsible
• Must be personable
• Must be a quick learner
• Incumbents under the age of 18 yrs. must provide working papers
• Reliable transportation to and from work

Nice To Haves

• Sales, customer service, or cashier experience preferred
• Knowledge of West Point is a plus

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall appearance of the store, including stocking merchandise and light cleaning
• Provide customer service
• Handle in-store, telephonic, and internet sales
• Perform web fulfillment
• Conduct product receiving and tagging
• Work at off-site events such as Class Reunions, Graduation, Reception Day, Acceptance Day at West Point
• Work football games and during the busy holiday season
