About The Position

The Sales Associate I supports the daily operations of the Outlet Store by ensuring a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment while delivering excellent customer service. This role is responsible for inventory rotation, product merchandising, order fulfillment, and cashiering, as well as maintaining store appearance and assisting customers. Responsibilities and physical requirements may vary from day to day, with tasks distributed throughout the work week.

Responsibilities

Rotates stock according to “best by” dates and ensures proper product placement.
Checks product dates daily and adjusts pricing for expired or soon-to-expire items, ensuring customers are informed.
Maintains adequate stock levels on shelves, in freezer cases, and in refrigerated displays to meet sales demand.
Performs monthly inventory counts and maintains accurate records.
Places product orders as needed, particularly in the absence of the Sales Associate II.
Prices products using a pricing gun, create and display signage, and ensure all items are properly labeled.
Greets customers in a friendly and professional manner, assisting with product inquiries and special orders.
Rings up purchases at the register, accurately handles cash transactions, and prepares sales documentation.
Bags or boxes purchased items and provides carry-out assistance to customer vehicles when necessary.
Addresses customer concerns promptly and escalates issues to a Supervisor as appropriate.
Ensures the store and warehouse remains clean, safe, and organized at all times.
Adheres to established housekeeping and safety procedures.
Closes the store at the end of the day, reconciling the cash register and recording daily sales across departments.
Assists in covering shifts for absent team members to maintain store operations.
Performs additional duties as directed by the Sales Associate II or Outlet Store Manager.
