About The Position
The Sales Associate at Westlake Ace Hardware plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. This position involves assisting in various store operations, including receiving, stocking, and pricing merchandise, while also maintaining a clean and orderly store environment. The Sales Associate must maintain a friendly and outgoing demeanor, ensuring that every customer feels valued and appreciated. Store operations are another key responsibility, where the Sales Associate will assist in maintaining back stock levels, ensuring the sales floor is clean and orderly, and participating in merchandise resets. The role also includes operating a forklift, provided the associate has received proper training. Communication with the General Manager regarding store issues, merchandising ideas, and participation in store meetings are also essential duties of this position. Overall, the Sales Associate is expected to perform all other duties as assigned, contributing to a positive and professional work environment.
