About The Position

The Part Time Sales and Service Specialist, TNC is an essential member of the Hertz Local Edition team. As a brand ambassador, the Part Time Sales and Service Specialist will be facilitating the fastest, easiest, and most valued rental car experience to Lyft and/or Uber drivers. This role involves ensuring optimal operational efficacies to provide customers the best rental car experience, assisting in creating rental car reservations, processing rentals, and providing clean and safe vehicles to our customers. The specialist will also assist customers with various post-rental inquiries that involve the rental and billing process, while working in a fast-paced environment to enhance the customer’s rental experience.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks.
• Demonstrate professionalism, enthusiasm, and outstanding communication skills.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Computer literate and detail-oriented.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the rental car experience for Lyft and/or Uber drivers.
• Ensure optimal operational efficiencies for customer satisfaction.
• Assist in creating rental car reservations and processing rentals.
• Provide clean and safe vehicles to customers.
• Handle post-rental inquiries related to rentals and billing.
• Answer phone inquiries about the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program.
• Communicate effectively the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program and Procedures.
• Maximize revenue opportunities by soliciting business after customer inquiries.
• Prepare vehicles for customer pick-up, including checking for damage and cleaning.
• Assist with special administrative projects as needed.
