About The Position

Primary Purpose: Assist the SACC program by providing flexible coverage, positive guidance, and quality supervision across multiple campuses. This position supports daily operations by stepping into various roles as needed to help ensure a safe, engaging, and smoothly run program.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma and three-years of equivalent experience/ Bachelor's Degree, preferred
  • Current CPR and First Aid certificates
  • Proficient in use of technology and various applications
  • Ability to speak clearly and articulately
  • Knowledge of acceptable best practices in afterschool quality assurance
  • Ability to implement policy and procedures
  • Ability to research, analyze, and interpret data
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • High degree of professionalism
  • At least three years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Personal cell phone is required to handle district related business, including after hours, or when away from the office on district business

Responsibilities

  • Float between campuses to provide mentorship and
  • Provide coverage for staff absences, program needs, or enrollment
  • Step into various roles, including Site Lead/Assistant, aide, or activity support, to maintain program
  • Support program-wide expectations for behavior, safety, and
  • Provide guidance and modeling for new or less experienced staff when floating on their
  • Demonstrate best practices in supervision, engagement, and behavior
  • Offer support to site teams by sharing effective strategies and reinforcing program
  • Model professionalism, flexibility, mentorship, and a positive
  • Implement the policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and local board policy as applicable
  • Compile, maintain, and file all physical and computerized reports, records, and other documents as required
  • Expand leadership skills and knowledge base through self-initiated professional development activities
  • Perform other duties and accept other responsibilities as assigned
  • Follow district procedures and best practices to safeguard the health and safety of children in the program, which include but are not limited to hand washing, sanitary measures, playground safety rules, rules regarding the use of supplies and equipment
  • Become knowledgeable of the district’s emergency procedures and ensure proper practices of procedures are conducted on a regular basis or as instructed by the district’s safety team
