About The Position
The position of Licensed Pharmacist involves ensuring the safety and security of merchandise while adhering to all laws and regulations governing the sale of pharmaceuticals. The pharmacist will report to the Retail Pharmacy Manager and is expected to maintain a positive and friendly attitude in a fast-paced environment, providing superior customer service and retaining customers. The role includes reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, directing pharmacy workers, performing immunizations, and managing medication therapy. The pharmacist will also be responsible for maintaining quality assurance procedures, entering data into pharmacy files, and instructing interns and other personnel. Compliance with state and federal laws is essential, and the pharmacist must maintain customer confidentiality as required by HIPAA.
