About The Position
The Spice & Tea Exchange is seeking a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our vibrant team at the Disney Springs Store. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about culinary experiences and enjoy engaging with customers. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in our mission of 'Creating & Sharing the Experience of a More Flavorful Life.' Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that every guest receives a stellar experience, welcoming them into the store and providing them with the information they need about our diverse range of products. You will be the face of our brand, contributing to our daily store operations and acting as our greatest brand ambassador. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining merchandise and product inventory levels throughout the store, ensuring that our displays are attractive and well-stocked. You will also be tasked with pricing merchandise accurately and maintaining solid product knowledge to promote our offerings effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the retail sales process, including exceptional communication skills, cross-selling, and up-selling techniques. You will need to be flexible and adaptable, as the retail environment can be fast-paced and requires a self-motivated team player who appreciates the aromas of spices and teas. This position requires evening and weekend availability, as our store operates from 10 am to 11 pm Sunday through Thursday, and 10 am to 11:30 pm on Friday and Saturday.
