About The Position

Spectrum Health Pharmacy is seeking a Part-time Retail Pharmacist to work 25 hours per week at 5201 Haverford Ave, Philadelphia, PA. The pharmacy operates Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm and is closed on weekends. The pharmacist will play a crucial role in delivering medication and pharmaceutical care to communities in need, including providing immunizations, patient consultations, and managing high-risk patients. This position is under the direct supervision of a manager and involves ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of medications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy required, PharmD preferred.
• Pharmacist registration in the state where the position is located.
• Immunization Certification or willingness to become a certified immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Interpersonal relations and customer service skills.
• 340B experience preferred.
• Vendor Credentialing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Dispensing and ensuring safe and efficient delivery of medications to all customers.
• Maintaining open communication and being available to customers and practitioner sites for consultation.
• Participating in the supervision of technical staff.
• Ensuring pharmacy compliance with best practices for 340B contract pharmacies.
• Providing professional consultation to both patients and prescribers of partner health facilities.
• Completing pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' workflow; verifying their preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals; verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.
