About The Position
The Store Associate role at Direct Tools Factory Outlet is a part-time position responsible for supporting the store management team by upholding company policies and operational processes. The primary duties of this role include driving daily sales and profit results to meet or exceed budget expectations, managing inventory accuracy, and following up on identified opportunities related to store standards and merchandising. Additionally, the Store Associate plays a crucial role in enhancing customer loyalty and maintaining a safe and productive store environment. This includes cash handling processes, opening and closing store functions, and effectively communicating any issues with the management team. A successful Store Associate will be knowledgeable about company policies, communicate effectively, and partner with the management team for guidance while executing all responsibilities with a sense of urgency. The position requires the Store Associate to review the sales floor daily for merchandising opportunities, motivate staff to meet or exceed daily sales goals, and ensure that all company policies and processes are executed at a high level. The role also involves supporting an environment of accountability and fairness, communicating any operational or customer issues to the management team, and ensuring a safe working environment. Customer service and support, along with stocking and unloading product shipments, are also key responsibilities of this position. The Store Associate must be able to interpret sales reporting data to improve store performance and possess a strong desire to exceed expectations to achieve both personal and financial success.
