About The Position

We are always looking for just the right fit! We want people who want to be educators during a child's most formative years. The owner and administration team are on site supporting teachers from 7:00 am - 6:00 pm. We are accepting applications for a Part-Time Resource Teacher's Aide or Assistant Teacher of all levels for our children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old. A Resource Teacher acts a float who supports all classrooms in our programs. We use a team teaching approach where everyone: Develops lesson plans Meets the individual's needs of the children, Is involved in parent communication, Participates in staff and training meetings, Designs an appropriate room arrangement to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom, Interacts with the children to support play, exploration, and learning. Presents expectations appropriate to the child's age and developmental level. Plans and implements activities that develop self-esteem and social skills. Communicates appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff. Builds teamwork. Uses assessment tools. Commits to continuing education.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with 6 weeks to 6 years preferred, not required.
