About The Position

The Department of Statistics seeks to hire undergraduate and masters students as part-time Research Assistants during Summer 2024. The successful candidates will provide assistance with statistical research mainly focused on statistical data privacy. Hours, wages and anticipated periods of employment will vary. Applications will be received and reviewed as the need arises.

Requirements

• Current undergraduate or master's student at Penn State.
• Basic understanding of statistical methods and data analysis.
• Ability to work part-time during Summer 2024.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS).
• Previous research experience in statistics or related fields.
