About The Position

The part-time Research Assistant will support the Isbell Chair’s chemistry and policy research program through grant and project coordination, communications and administrative support, student research coordination, and mentored research in chemistry and policy. The position will help advance funded and emerging projects by contributing to proposal development, grant administration and reporting, stakeholder communication, support of student research activities, and the development and execution of selected research projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1 - 3 years of relevant experience
  • Candidate should have background in either the natural or physical sciences or in political science, international affairs, public policy, or related fields, together with demonstrated ability to work across disciplinary boundaries on issues at the intersection of science and policy.
  • Strong writing, organizational, and project-management skills are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in research support, grant administration, proposal development, student coordination, or related program activities is preferred.
