About The Position

Penn State’s College of Engineering (COE), in collaboration with the Office of Naval Research (ONR) and Penn State’s PIPELINE (Penn State Intern Pipeline Links to Navy Engineering) program, is looking for enterprising students to participate in a paid internship program. Students will conduct research to enhance their readiness for successful and significant careers in national security, defense, and aerospace organizations. The successful candidate will work up to 40 hours/week over the summer. This is a paid internship. You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply due to grant requirements.

Requirements

  • Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.

Responsibilities

  • Support for engineering testing, data analysis, and data display
  • Hands-on work in a laboratory environment
  • Use of multiple computing languages, analysis tools, simulations and measurements
