About The Position

The Part Time Relationship Banker at Comerica is responsible for enhancing the success of Retail Banking Centers by being a trusted resource for customers. This role involves conducting marketing activities to identify customer needs, providing solutions to drive revenue growth, and ensuring a customer-centric experience while adhering to operational objectives. The position supports Banking Centers within the District and may require occasional Saturday work.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge of consumer and small business banking products and services.
  • Experience in marketing and customer relationship management.
  • Understanding of compliance and operational risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Execute proactive marketing activities for customer attraction, retention, and expansion.
  • Complete assigned daily planning activities.
  • Provide effective customer onboarding and engagement, strengthening new customer relationships.
  • Act as a digital ambassador to transition customers to digital solutions.
  • Initiate quality financial wellness conversations to enhance customer relationships.
  • Support consumer portfolio management efforts to retain and expand the customer base.
  • Assist in community awareness events to increase bank outreach and foster new business relationships.
  • Utilize customer relationship management tools effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and Comerica's policies and procedures.
  • Complete necessary compliance-related training.
  • Control and mitigate losses by following policies and procedures.
  • Engage in Banker Readiness by developing knowledge of consumer and small business products and services.
  • Lead banking center activities in the absence of the Banking Manager.
  • Educate and fulfill customer requests, both routine and complex.
  • Resolve customer complaints and deepen existing relationships.
  • Follow defined customer experience guidelines to enhance customer interactions.
  • Complete Comerica Platform Training Program successfully.
  • Provide remarkable customer service through all customer interactions, including opening new accounts and problem resolution.
  • Perform routine Teller transactions as needed.
  • Maintain customer confidentiality and protect bank operations.
