About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse who is passionate about making a difference in an outpatient dialysis center. In this role, you will provide life-saving care while making a meaningful impact on patients and their families facing end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions. Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 9 months of RN experience.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.
  • Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance in state of residence.

Nice To Haves

  • Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) experience.
  • Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN).
  • Previous Chronic Hemodialysis, Acute Dialysis and/or Home Hemodialysis (HHD) nursing experience.
  • Training/Teaching/Healthcare Education background.

Responsibilities

  • Provide life-saving care to patients in an outpatient dialysis center.
  • Build long-term relationships with patients and their families.
  • Work as part of a small interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
  • Deliver specialized, complex care to patients with multiple co-morbidities.
  • Oversee a group of patients with the support of Patient Care Technicians (PCTs).
  • Commit to improving patient health through clinical goal setting and quality improvement initiatives.
