The position involves providing nutrition consulting services for an Assisted Living Facility, with a flexible schedule of 6-8 hours per quarter, including one on-site visit per quarter. Compensation is $40.00–$46.00 per hour, with additional travel reimbursement for time and mileage. Requirements

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Comfortable using electronic documentation and menu systems.
• Ability to maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics at all times.

Nice To Haves

• Experience reviewing menus and conducting audits in assisted living or long-term care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve menus for regular and therapeutic diets to ensure compliance with nutrition standards.
• Conduct periodic kitchen audits to assess food service operations, sanitation, and safety practices.
• Identify residents at nutritional risk and complete periodic nutrition assessments as needed.
• Collaborate with facility staff to provide recommendations that enhance meal quality and resident satisfaction.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
