About The Position

The Part-Time Recreation Specialist at Terrell Mill Tennis Center is responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing facility operations, and promoting recreational programming. The specialist will also supervise various recreational activities and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required, supplemented by vocational or technical training in customer service or related field.
  • Two years of experience in customer service.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

  • Perform customer service functions, providing information and assistance regarding services and activities.
  • Process participant registrations, court reservations, and tournament registrations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare daily financial reports and deposits, balancing cash drawers and auditing transactions.
  • Promote recreational programming and events by creating and publishing promotional materials.
  • Provide administrative support, including conducting tours, answering phones, and maintaining inventory of supplies.
  • Prepare facilities according to the daily schedule, including opening and closing the facility and performing routine cleaning duties.
  • Organize, instruct, and supervise assigned recreational activities, ensuring compliance with established rules and safety standards.
