About The Position

The Receptionist is the first point of contact for customers and visitors at the dealership, responsible for creating a welcoming and professional environment. This role manages incoming calls, directs customer traffic to the appropriate departments, and provides general administrative support to ensure efficient daily operations. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative assistant, or customer service role preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone manner
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor
  • Proficient in basic office equipment and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented with a willingness to assist where needed
  • Must pass pre-employment background check, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, and drug screening

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and visitors warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive and professional first impression
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls using a multi-line phone system; take and relay accurate messages as needed
  • Respond to general inquiries and route customers to the appropriate departments such as sales, service, or finance
  • Handle customer concerns or complaints professionally, escalating issues to the appropriate personnel when necessary
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized reception area in accordance with company procedures and safety standards
  • Perform general clerical duties including filing, faxing, copying, and managing office supplies
  • Operate and monitor dealership telecommunications and security systems as required
  • Support internal departments with administrative tasks as assigned
  • Perform other duties as assigned to assist with overall dealership operations
