About The Position
Washtenaw Community College is seeking a Part time Public Safety Service Officer to ensure the public safety of the College community, including buildings and property. This non-sworn/non-certified position involves responding to emergency situations throughout the campus, such as medical emergencies, fires, disturbances, and criminal activity. The officer will work varying hours between 20-24 hours per week, with shifts available from 7A-3P, 3P-11P, and 11P-7A, Monday through Sunday. Flexible scheduling around class and work schedules is available whenever possible. The position offers a WCC tuition waiver of 3 credit hours per semester upon hire, provided the employee remains employed for the entire semester.
