About The Position

Ridgeview and Oakview Sunol Hills, LLC is looking for a motivated, dependable individual willing to work in a dynamic multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment. We are a residential program specializing in the treatment of young adults with eating disorders. Our team is a dedicated, close-knit group of professionals who are passionate about serving the clients in our care. Mental health clinicians are responsible for providing comprehensive clinical services to clients in a six-bed residential treatment facility. Primary responsibilities include treatment coordination and documentation and providing direct clinical services to clients (individual, family, and group therapy). Requirements

  • Masters Degree and/or Ph.D. from an accredited college or university in social work, mental health or a related field. Master's level, must be registered with BBS as Licensed Clinical Social Worker, (LCSW), Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), or Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT).
  • Two years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting and experience in patient assessment, family motivation, treatment planning, and communication preferred.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship and pass extensive background check
  • 20-24 hour per week, 3 days per week on site at the facility.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with adolescents' young adults, and adults is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with all persons involved in client treatment.
  • Case management tasks that include but are not limited to coordinating discharge planning, collaborating with outpatient providers, and submitting appropriate documentation to providers.
  • Interact with clients in the milieu, teaching and modeling appropriate coping skills.
  • Facilitate group therapy that includes process groups, skills group and family meetings.
  • Conduct individual therapy.
  • Complete accurate and timely charting.
  • Facilitate clients’ safety at all times.
  • Maintain a teamwork ethic through collaboration and communication with staff.
  • Have a clinical and working knowledge of crisis prevention and intervention. Be able to operate effectively in a crisis.
