About The Position

Penn State Abington's Division of Social Sciences, Psychological and Social Sciences program, invites applications for an adjunct instructor of Psychology, Human Development and Family Studies, or similar degree to teach PSYCH 301W: Basic Research Methods in Psychology in the Fall of 2024. Candidates must be able to teach Basic Research Methods in Psychology (PSYCH 301W). There are two sections of this course available. This course has an in-person component and will likely run on Tuesday and Thursdays from 10:35 a.m. - 11:50 a.m. and from 1:35 p.m. - 2:50 p.m. and will be taught in a computer lab. It is not required that the applicant for this opening agree to teach both sections, but it would be preferable if possible.

Requirements

  • Completed a Doctoral degree in Psychology or Human Development and Family Studies or related degrees preferred
  • ABD and Masters level candidates will be considered
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching undergraduates is highly desirable
