The Temple University Libraries is seeking a motivated Project Assistant to join the Health Science Library's Research, Education, and Outreach services team. This position offers a unique opportunity for pre-professional experience in providing essential library services that support instruction, outreach, collections, and reference services. The Garfield-Taylor Project Assistant will collaborate with experienced information professionals to deliver high-quality library services, develop peer relationships, and explore a future career in academic health sciences librarianship. The role involves participating in various projects, including the systematic review search service, supporting instructional activities, developing online library guides, curating data in Temple's institutional repository, and contributing to library outreach efforts. The Project Assistant will enhance their skills in navigating health sciences databases, providing reference services, managing projects, collaborating with others, delivering instruction, and managing research data. This is a one-year hybrid position, allowing for up to 19 hours of work per week during weekday business hours.
