About The Position

The Professional Golf Management (PGM) program in the Department of Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management, College of Health and Human Development seeks to hire a part-time student assistant.

Requirements

  • Must be a current Penn State student
  • Ability to meet and greet students and families
  • Strong organizational skills to create and monitor programs
  • Ability to represent the student society executive board
  • Creativity in planning social events

Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet students and visiting families, welcome new students and collect contact information in the PGM Office (7th floor, Ford Building)
  • Create and monitor the new student mentor program
  • Represent the student society executive board while meeting with PGM Faculty
  • Create social events for new students throughout the semester to welcome them to campus
  • Other duties as assigned
