Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the nuclear industry.
  • A good understanding of Level 1 PRA tasks and Level 2 PRA tasks is desired.
  • Experience with the EPRI Risk & Reliability (R&R) software and codes such as Phoenix Risk Architect suite.
  • Familiarity with NRC governing codes and standards.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Strong technical writing skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners and coordinate with diverse engineering teams to ensure project success.
  • Develop risk-informed approaches to address evolving challenges.
  • Prepare engineering calculations and analysis.
  • Perform site visits and walkdowns.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the ASME / ANS PRA Standard, related NRC Regulatory Guides, and related NEI or EPRI guidance documents.
  • Ensure projects are executed within planned scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Build strong relationships with clients through professional interactions and communications.
  • Identify and promote opportunities for PRA and related risk-informed application projects.
  • Identify and promote training and industry interaction opportunities.
  • Produce high-quality engineering deliverables in accordance with client and ENERCON quality assurance programs.
