About The Position

Lemaire, the acclaimed restaurant at The Jefferson Hotel, is seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Part-Time PM Server Assistant / Food Runner to support our evening service team. This role is ideal for someone who is guest-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in an elegant, fast-paced dining environment. By assisting servers and running food from the kitchen, this position plays a critical part in ensuring smooth service and an exceptional dining experience for every guest.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a full-service restaurant preferred but not required.
• A positive attitude and commitment to high-quality service.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Punctual, dependable, and willing to take initiative.
• Comfortable standing, walking, and lifting moderate weights for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers in providing exceptional service by clearing and resetting tables, refilling water, and delivering items as needed.
• Support overall guest satisfaction by maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
• Anticipate the needs of both guests and service staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Deliver food promptly and accurately from the kitchen to the dining room, ensuring correct presentation.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to confirm dish details, modifications, and timing.
• Coordinate with servers to ensure food is delivered in the proper order and to the correct guests.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and food handling guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to support coordinated service.
• Perform side work and closing duties as assigned.
