MedMark Treatment Centers is looking for a part time physician that is dedicated to helping patients in their road to recovery.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible in Addiction Medicine is preferred but not required.
• Addiction Medicine specialty experience required.
• Must be licensed in the state of West Virginia or able to obtain license within 90 days.
• Must have DEA in West Virginia and be eligible for Medicare participation.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Admitting Patients for Methadone and Buprenorphine Treatment.
• Cover absences for the Medical Director during vacations, attendance at addiction meetings, and personal absences.
• Obtain a history and physical exam.
• Document into the EMR.
• Enter orders for methadone dosing in the EMR or write a buprenorphine prescription.
• Consistently monitor patient dosages in conjunction with the Treatment Center Director, Counselors and Dosing Nurses.
• Consult on patients that are high risk and perform annual medication reviews.
• Perform other related duties as determined by supervisor.
