About The Position

As a Part Time Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients improve their physical mobility, manage pain, and recover from injuries or surgeries. Your primary objective will be to assess patients' physical conditions, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to enhance their functional abilities. You will collaborate closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal outcomes. This role requires a compassionate approach, strong clinical expertise, and the ability to motivate and educate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey. Ultimately, your work will contribute significantly to improving patients' quality of life and independence.

Requirements

Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice within the United States.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Proven experience in physical therapy practice, preferably in outpatient or rehabilitation settings.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques.

Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage patients and multidisciplinary teams.
Flexibility to work varied part-time hours including evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical capabilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and clinical best practices.
Provide hands-on therapy, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to improve strength, flexibility, and mobility.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure effective recovery.
Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and outcomes.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards to provide a safe therapeutic environment.
