Atlas Therapy is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to join our team in the State College office. Our ideal candidate has a desire to provide quality one-on-one care using their ever-evolving skills in our clinic. This position will be a combination of private room treatment as well as the utilization of expert exercise skills in a gym setting.

Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Licensure with a willingness to learn Atlas treatment strategies.
• New grads or experienced clinicians welcomed.
• Must be comfortable using electronic documentation, and other basic technology.
• Working one-on-one in private treatment rooms, assessing patients, building and executing patient plans of care; and implementing appropriate physical therapy interventions including manual hands-on treatment.
• Must be a highly motivated individual, a team player, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Must be willing to work as a team keeping patient care on the forefront.
• With the complexity of our cases, skillset advancement through continued education courses is encouraged and supported.

Responsibilities

• Providing detailed physical therapy assessments
• Developing care plans to meet patients’ goals
• Providing manual based therapy approaches in a one-on-one setting
• Listening to patients and educating or advising them on physical therapy strategies to meet their goals
• Maintaining quality documentation and billing standards
• Working with web based electronic medical record, home exercise program, and integrated patient satisfaction tracking
• Being flexible to operational challenges and demands that require a full team approach
• Becoming an integral part of Atlas Therapy and serving our surrounding communities
