We seek a Part Time Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Schedule: This is a Part Time role, where you will be working 20 hours a week, but this can flex up to cover for PTO and call outs as needed. The pharmacy is open Monday-Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm CT with lunch from 12:00pm to 1:00pm and the manager will work with you on the schedule. Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Arkansas
- Ability to use your own car to make deliveries when needed
- Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license
Nice To Haves
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
Responsibilities
- Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
- Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist
- Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
- Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
- Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
- Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
- Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
- Communicate with solid professional verbal and written communication skills
- Other duties as assigned
