About The Position
Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently. Review prescriptions for accuracy, safety, and compliance. Monitor patient history to ensure safe drug administration. Respond to patient inquiries and provide medication counseling. Ensure the quality and safety of all medications dispensed. Manage inventory and maintain regulatory compliance. Organize workflow and maintain accurate documentation.
Requirements
- Proficiency in pharmacy operations, including data entry and dispensing.
- Experience with order entry and prior authorization processes.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active Texas Pharmacy License in good standing.
