About the position

The Part Time Pharmaceutical Delivery Driver role involves picking up medications from a CVS Pharmacy Specialty location in Columbia, SC, and delivering them to patients across South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia. This position is ideal for independent contractors with economical vehicles who can work flexible hours, primarily Monday through Friday, with potential weekend on-call duties. The role emphasizes punctuality, customer service, and the ability to meet delivery deadlines efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Pick up medications from CVS Pharmacy Specialty location in Columbia, SC.
• Deliver specialty medications to patients in the Columbia Metro area and throughout South Carolina, North Carolina, and parts of Georgia.
• Ensure signed paperwork or medication returns are returned the same day or next day to the pharmacy.
• Safely store and return any after-hours paperwork or medication returns the next day.
• Work flexible hours between 9am and 4pm, Monday through Friday, with potential weekend on-call duties.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Minimum of 1 year driving experience
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Must have an economical vehicle (minimum 25 miles per gallon)
• Must have a GPS
• Must have an Android or Apple powered smartphone
• Great customer service skills
• Self-motivated and punctual
• Professional appearance with company shirt and badge
• Flexible with work hours
• Team player with a positive attitude
