Part Time Parts Driver (1 week on, 1 week off)
About The Position
MAIN OBJECTIVE: The Parts Driver delivers and picks up parts and equipment for the dealership QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Valid Drivers License Must maintain condition of insurability through our current liability insurance carrier Professional appearance Excellent organizational skills Good communication skills Essential Duties: Deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, and vendors Pick up parts and equipment from customers, satellite stores, and vendors, to be coordinated with the Parts Manager, Parts Counter people, or Shipping and Receiving before leaving Complete a log at the time of delivery and request recipient’s signature Unload truck each night. Turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts Wash outside of truck daily Be responsible for the basic upkeep of the truck; check oil with each fill-up, ensure that the truck is lubricated every 3000 miles, write-up any less than safe conditions and provide to Parts Manager Cash checks and other financial receipts, fiduciary. Maintains facilities and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and safety. Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect the Parts department operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc… ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Will spend eight hours or more a day driving interstate and city roads. Will encounter traffic, and weather conditions. Will stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, handle, and feel. Will be required to lift up to 70 pounds. Responsibilities
