Part Time Parts Driver
About The Position
Beach Automotive is currently looking for a parts delivery driver to add to our team. Looking for a team player who is self-motivated to deliver automotive parts to local repair facilities within the local region. This position will be part time working 2 days a week, potentially filling in when needed. J ob responsibilities include but not limited to: Pulling/picking parts for orders based on invoices/pick tickets. Load/unload delivery vehicles with parts identified for customers. Deliver and pick up parts to and from customers ensuring accuracy of items delivered. Handle returns picked up from customers ensuring proper paperwork is provided. Operate delivery vehicles in a safe manner. Keep delivery vehicles clean and in good running condition, notifying management of any damage or services needed. Maintain a professional appearance of one’s self and parts dept. Communicate with customers and staff in a friendly and professional manner. Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Must be able to lift 40+ lbs.
- Able to climb ladder to pull parts.
