About The Position

Incumbents in this position assist with unskilled and limited semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance and/or repair of athletic fields, parks, tennis or pickle ball courts, aquatics facilities, related public facilities, parking lots, and other public grounds. Depending on assignment, incumbents may be required to work evenings, holidays, and weekends to support events and tournaments. Some positions may require driving a city vehicle to travel from various public facilities.

Requirements

• Any combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the work.
• Must have a valid Arizona Driver's License at the time of hire and be able to maintain it.

Responsibilities

• Assist with unskilled and limited semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance and/or repair of athletic fields.
• Maintain and repair parks, tennis or pickle ball courts, and aquatics facilities.
• Support events and tournaments by working evenings, holidays, and weekends as required.
• Drive a city vehicle to travel between various public facilities as needed.
