About The Position

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Support activities during Parkridge Center's After School and Summer Programs. Provide support in the delivery of student-centered classes, workshops and activities. Perform routine duties such as: classroom set up, front desk support and room preparation, monitor supply levels; and cleaning. Assist center management with basic data entry for reporting i.e., programming, finances, metrics Assist in providing a high level of customer service to a diverse customer base through information sharing, instruction and assistance. Demonstrate ability to work in a safe, diverse, kid friendly atmosphere with strong attention to detail while being able to provide face-to-face, telephone and email assistance to students and their families. Attend staff meetings, department meetings and trainings assigned by the college and appropriate leadership. Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager of College Career Readiness

Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent plus College level course work.
  • Excellent customer service/telephone skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully with diverse patrons of all ages, ethnicities, genders, and backgrounds.
  • Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills to deal effectively with various college and community publics.
  • Ability to work mornings and afternoons between 9am and 9pm Monday -Saturday.
