Part Time Paid Intern – Life Help Disability Support
About The Position
The Priesthood and Family Department, located at the Church Office Building in Salt Lake City, is offering a part-time paid internship in its Life Help division. This 12-month hourly paid internship typically requires the intern to work up to 20 hours per week primarily on-site, with minimal remote work flexibility. Responsibilities The Life Help intern supports the Special Programs and Services Manager in the Priesthood and Family Department. Tasks will include writing, researching, interviewing, answering calls and supporting advisory group work for members with disabilities and their families. Candidates should exhibit excellence in writing, communication skills, and disability awareness.
Requirements
- Applicants for this internship must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college or university, or they must have recently finished a degree from an accredited college or university (within 12 months of beginning their internship).
- Applicants must also be available, at their own expense, for possible in-person interviews at our Salt Lake City location if they are selected as finalists.
- Sound understanding of Church doctrine, history, organization, and policy
- The ability to manage many projects simultaneously
- The ability to give careful attention to detail and sustain concentration for long periods of time
- The ability to work well with people and present an image of professionalism
