About The Position
Looking to get a start in the Food & Beverage industry? Hate the idea of sitting behind a desk all day? As an Overnight Porter, you’ll be staying active on your feet providing support and assistance to the rest of the service team. Here are some of the daily tasks you’ll be responsible for:
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Capable of thinking on their feet
- Able to keep up in high-pressure situations
- Must be able to accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
- There will be occasions when you may be carrying/lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending/twisting, climbing stairs and more.
Nice To Haves
- Previous food and beverage experience
Responsibilities
- Cleaning the grill, stoves, fryer, and kitchen.
- Replacing washed dishes and utensils in storage areas.
- Helping in keeping the general restaurant area sanitary and clean (i.e. sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning tables).
