About The Position

The Security Officer is responsible for providing security services at assigned locations with a focus on observing and reporting. This position includes access control at a truck gate and requires monitoring and reporting all activity, conducting foot patrols, vehicular patrols, and responding to emergency situations requiring security assistance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and reporting all activity.
• Conducting foot patrols, vehicular patrols, golf cart patrols, and/or bicycle patrol of applicable interior and/or exterior areas.
• Reporting suspicious activities and persons.
• Writing detailed narrative reports.
• Maintaining daily activity reports (DAR's).
• Enforcing post orders, site rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Responding to emergency situations requiring security assistance.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property and monitoring surveillance equipment.
• Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities.
• Accurately logging inbound/outbound traffic via site-specific procedures.
• Providing direction and support to associates needing assistance with security matters.
• Conducting visual inspections of vehicles entering and leaving the facility.
• Providing customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures.
