The position is for a part-time Test Engineer to perform Radio Frequency (RF) Over the Air (OTA) Antenna testing on mobile products with technologies such as CDMA, GSM, UMTS, LTE, Wi-Fi, IOT, and 5G, to ensure delivery of testing services that meet client’s requirements in accordance with Global Wireless Forums’ test plans and SGS quality system.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Civil Engineering (BSCE), or equivalent degree.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Intermediate English language skills required.
• Basic to advanced mathematical skills required.
• Basic to advanced reasoning skills required.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform Radio Frequency (RF) Over the Air (OTA) Antenna testing on mobile products.
• Maintain high degree of knowledge of industry test requirements.
• Assist customers and test equipment manufacturers with issues.
• Maintain one or more test platforms, updating systems and isolating issues.
• Conduct testing in accordance with established procedures.
• Complete all assigned chargeable work within required timeframes.
• Ensure completion of all assigned work and relevant documentation.
• Actively improve the testing service provided by SGS.
• Maintain the laboratory and personal areas for efficient operations.
• Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
