About the position

The Midwest Auto Parts Picker/Driver is responsible for delivering and picking up auto parts for customers, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role involves both driving and warehouse duties, requiring interaction with customers and adherence to company policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick-up parts for customers.
• Pick customer orders for delivery.
• Treat customers and fellow employees in accordance with company policies.
• Use computer to assist in many job functions.
• Move incoming product to correct departments and assist in shelving/placing parts into their correct locations.
• Re-stock customer returns to their proper places in inventory.
• Pick customer orders accurately and organize the parts in shipping bins.
• Prepare and load parts into delivery vehicles and transport parts to customers, satellite stores, and vendors.
• Empty waste cans, sweep, clean, mow, cut down cardboard for disposal, and perform other miscellaneous duties.
• Assist anyone in the department, company, or customers as needed.

Requirements

• Need to have simple computer skills and be able to read a road map.
• Be able to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years or older.
• Must have a professional appearance and be courteous and friendly.
• Needs basic math and reasoning skills along with good communication abilities.
• Employee must be able to lift/move 25 pounds consistently and occasionally 100 pounds.
