About The Position

Hoplite Group is seeking an experienced OSINT SME to support a multi-phase curriculum development for a U.S. Government program building capacity for a partner nation. This role will focus exclusively on OSINT expertise advising on curriculum content, validating course materials, and mentoring faculty to ensure training is operationally relevant and meets NATO and U.S.-aligned standards. The position involves remote support and OCONUS travel for in-person foreign engagements as part of a US Government team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of dedicated experience in collecting, analyzing, and reporting on open-source information in an intelligence, law enforcement, cybersecurity, or national security context.
  • Proven proficiency with a wide range of OSINT tools, techniques, and methodologies (e.g., advanced search, SOCMINT, GEOINT from open sources, Dark/Deep Web, data analysis, OPSEC, attribution management).
  • Experience translating complex OSINT concepts into clear, teachable, and actionable instructional content.
  • Experience developing individual and collective OSINT training that includes curriculum content development support, curriculum review and validation, and pilot course advising.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide feedback review and improvement recommendations.
  • Experience with the ADDIE model of instructional design is required.
  • Familiarity with NATO and/or U.S. standards for intelligence and training is required.
  • Experience working collaboratively with US and international stakeholders utilizing in-person and virtual facilitation techniques and tools.

  • Qualification as a Military Instructor or equivalent certification.
  • Relevant OSINT certifications (e.g., GIAC GOSI, SANS SEC497, or equivalent military/government OSINT courses).

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert-level OSINT advisory support to the development and delivery of a comprehensive OSINT training program.
  • Translate complex OSINT concepts into clear, teachable material.
  • Ensure the curriculum aligns with NATO and U.S. intelligence standards.
  • Create and update training modules, courses, and certification programs aligned with mission needs.
  • Develop individual and collective OSINT training that includes curriculum content development support, curriculum review and validation, and pilot course advising.
  • Provide feedback review and improvement recommendations on training materials.
  • Integrate best practices in developing individual and collective OSINT training and analytical skill progression.
  • Measure effectiveness of training and recommend adjustments.
