About The Position

As a Part-Time / On-Call Network Team Associate with the Rapport Network Team, you will serve as a key ambassador of the Rapport brand, providing high-level guest services and front-of-house support across multiple client sites throughout New York City. This mobile role requires flexibility, adaptability, and a professional demeanor as you travel to various locations to deliver seamless, on-site coverage based on operational needs. You will often be the first point of contact for clients, guests, recruits, and employees—creating a warm and welcoming environment while ensuring a secure and professional experience. Responsibilities may include reception services, guest escorting, switchboard operation, and administrative support. This role requires a high level of discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain service excellence in fast-paced and varied environments. Please note: Hours are not guaranteed and are based on assignment availability. Travel within New York City is required.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in client service, reception, or hospitality-related roles.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be comfortable working independently and adapting to new environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Some college or professional training in hospitality or related fields is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and acknowledge all guests with warmth and professionalism.
  • Anticipate and address guest needs, providing timely and attentive service.
  • Handle all guest service inquiries, including senior receptionist requests, with efficiency and care.
  • Monitor and process visitor registrations using centralized email inboxes and scheduling platforms.
  • Escort high-touch clients and VIP guests to their meeting destinations, ensuring a polished experience.
  • Promote a collaborative work environment through regular communication and coordination with on-site teams and departments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and reception area at all times.
  • Ensure a smooth arrival and departure experience for all guests, leaving a lasting positive impression.
  • Act as the first point of contact in the lobby for daily activity and emergency situations, remaining alert and responsive.
  • Take ownership of any service challenges in the lobby, resolving them directly or escalating appropriately.
  • Support various administrative tasks and perform additional duties as assigned.
