About The Position

The Part-Time Nurse position will provide, observe and assess and administer patient care as assigned. Essential Functions Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc. Complies with all Nursing safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities. Must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned. Monitor and report symptoms and changes in patient status. Collaborate with medical team on patient status.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available
• Must be able to pass all required training to work in a nuclear power plant.

Nice To Haves

• Register Nurse Degree from an approved nursing program.
• Current licensure by the relevant state nursing board.
• Certifications as required such as CPR.
• Relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records.
• Be able to do schedules and keep track of the nurses' hours.
• Prepare patients and assist with patient examinations as needed.
• Assist with diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Provide educational, emotional, and psychological support to patients.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with healthcare procedures and regulations.
• Adhere to infection-control protocols.
• Follow medication administration and storage procedures and regulations.
• Monitor and co-ordinate maintenance of equipment operation and inventory.
• Educate and instruct patients as needed.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned
