About The Position

The Part Time Nurse Practitioner at Evernorth in Auburn Hills, Michigan, is responsible for providing primary care treatment in an employer-based setting. Requirements

• Graduate of Certified NP program
• Active and unrestricted NP license in respective state
• Minimum of 3 years NP experience in an internal medicine or family practice setting
• Ability to practice independently in respective state
• DEA licensure and prescriptive authority
• Experience with Electronic Health Records
• BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Provide Primary Care treatment in an Employer-based setting
• Deliver episodic care (low acuity Urgent Care)
• Manage extended episodic acute care with multiple visits for limited chronic conditions
• Educate and co-manage chronic conditions with outside primary care providers
• Oversee and perform CLIA waived tests and dispense Rx medications
• Collaborate with onsite employees for biometric screening and health education
• Recommend travel medicine and administer immunizations or allergen immunotherapy
• Conduct one-on-one health coaching and refer patients to wellness programs
• Work effectively with healthcare team members (MA, LPN)
• Partner with local HR/Benefits team to improve employee health
