The RN must be capable of managing unexpected or emergency situations commonly encountered in the assigned specialty population and serve as a resource for Nurse Clinicians I or II. The RN will provide patient care based on the American Nurses Association Standards of Professional Practice and Professional Performance, while also valuing the strategic initiatives and goals of the specialty unit, nursing, and the health system.
