Requirements

Current RN or LPN license in Arizona
Valid CPR certification with BLS and training in AED procedures
Physical fitness, capable of meeting the demands of the job, including lifting up to 40 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 125 pounds
Patient and compassionate, especially when caring for individuals who are sick, injured, elderly, or from diverse backgrounds

Nice To Haves

6 months nursing experience in a long-term care setting preferred
Strong customer service skills with a hospitable attitude

Responsibilities

Administers medications.
Administers treatments, including, but not limited to: dressings, catherization, suctioning, oxygen, etc.
Maintains accurate documentation of medication administered and care rendered.
Accurate and thorough completion of skilled charting, change of condition, monthly charting, evaluations, and all other regulatory documentation as assigned.
Assists in admission and discharge procedures.
Responds to resident emergency call system as indicated.
Keeps physician and family aware of change in resident’s condition.
