About The Position

RICHMOND, VA (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY)--A warm and welcoming family in Richmond, VA, is seeking a professional, mature, and engaging PART-TIME NANNY to care for their 16-month-old son in a long-term, live-out position. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, guaranteeing 21 hours per week. Parents work from home and are very flexible for any three workdays/week with 7 hours/day, and can work with the nanny to find a mutually beneficial schedule. Primary care is for their 16-month-old son, described as agreeable, playful, energetic, and adventurous. The family also has a 4.5-year-old daughter. While no regular care is required for the older child, occasional support during school breaks or babysitting may be requested. Responsibilities include complete childcare, maintaining the toddler’s routine, engaging him in age-appropriate developmental activities, planning outings to the neighborhood park and local library, and light tidying after the child. A family vehicle is available for use while on the job. The position offers $30–$35 per hour and includes paid sick time, vacation, and holidays. The ideal candidate has strong toddler experience, is organized, responsible, adaptable, friendly, professional, and a proactive problem solver. Start date is flexible for the right candidate.

BA/BS COLLEGE DEGREE | AA IN RELATED FIELD OF STUDY | OR A MINIMUM OF 5+ YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL NANNY EXPERIENCE
UP TO DATE FIRST-AID & CPR CERTIFICATION (WILLINGNESS TO RENEW AS NEEDED)
