About The Position
Jovie Nannies + Sitters of Las Vegas is seeking a warm, experienced, and engaging part-time nanny to care for a delightful infant and toddler in their home. This is a wonderful opportunity for a nurturing individual who genuinely loves working with young children and is seeking a consistent morning schedule. Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:30 AM - 11:30 AM (20 hours per week) About the Family: This friendly family values a gentle, hands-on, and screen-free approach to parenting. Mom will be in and out of her office, is very kind, and respects the nanny's space and time. They are looking for a long-term commitment.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of professional experience caring for infants and toddlers, including newborns.
- Previous nanny experience and excellent references.
- Genuine love for children and enthusiasm about their development.
- Takes initiative and is proactive in creating engaging activities.
- Willing to mirror the family's gentle and hands-on parenting style.
- Reliable transportation and a clean record
- Willing to care for children with mild illnesses (within reason).
- Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to a long-term placement.
- Drug-free (drug screening will be conducted).
- Vaccinated for pertussis
Responsibilities
- Providing attentive and loving care for an infant and toddler.
- Engaging children in age-appropriate activities and play (no screens).
- Preparing bottles and simple meals/snacks for the children.
- Diapering and maintaining hygiene.
- Maintaining a safe and organized environment.
- Keeping parents updated on the children's day.
- Leading by example with patience and self-control.
- Maintaining a strong sense of safety at all times.
