A professional family in Harrison, NY is seeking a temporary part-time nanny who has cooking skills to begin in April, with the possibility of the role transitioning into a long-term structure in September. At the start of this position, the family's daughter will be 21 months old. The child will begin daycare in September, at which time the schedule and responsibilities will adjust. Both parents have demanding careers and are seeking a highly reliable, warm, and consistent professional who can commit long-term and provide stability. This is a live-out position. The family prefers candidates who live within approximately 20 minutes of Harrison. April through mid-May (temporary position, with potential for long-term): Monday through Friday, 9am – 1pm (approximately 20 hours per week) 12pm – 1pm: Adult meal preparation and cooking, while the child naps Additionally, ideally three weekend days per month for 3–3.5 hours each. During this phase, responsibilities focus primarily on toddler care, enrichment activities, and consistency. The start of the permanent position will follow the above schedule, beginning in mid-May and continuing until September. Starting September (Fall Structure): Monday through Friday, 2pm – 6:30pm (approximately 22–23 hours per week) 2pm – 3pm: Adult meal preparation and cooking 3pm – 6:30pm: Daycare pickup and toddler care The family is willing to adjust the schedule for an exceptional candidate.
